You will be using the phone and e-mail to sell software to marketing professionals.
You'll have many manager and "C" level contacts at banks, insurance
companies, agencies, catalogers, hotels; leading companies that are
potential MarketingPilot customers.
A background, or degree in marketing is a big plus... Your job is the entire sales process from calling prospects to online
presentations to closing the sale. You will have a regional
territory. While this is an inside sales job, you will travel
to meet clients 1-2 times per month.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFYING POINTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW:
- You must have 2+ years of very CURRENT successful inside sales experience,
working on the phone, to sell software to companies regionally or nationally.
We will only consider candidates with strong marketing backgrounds,
at an agency, or as a direct marketer or at a corporate marketing department.
- You must have excellent telephone skills and a history of knowing
how to get to decision makers. Are you a good, no, a great listener?
- You must have excellent INSIDE sales skills as evidenced by your sales
vs. quota numbers for the past 2 years. Can you close a prospect on
the phone? Can you do on-line presentations? Do you have a great phone
approach and loads of energy and interpersonal skills?
- You must love to cold call by phone with the ability to identify who
is and who is not a prospect.
- Candidates must live in the Chicagoland area.
