Your focus is to build reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services. Some reports will be part of our standard product while others will be created to meet the needs of specific clients. An ideal candidate would be a person who is capable of getting report requirements, report development and deployment. As you can imagine, this position will require a person who has good communication skills as well as a very good knowledge of SQL and report design/development. Do you have what we need?
- Knowledge of and experience with banded report writing tools. It is a definite plus if you are knowledgeable about SQL Server report writer and the business intelligence suite.
- Knowledge and experience with SQL is a definite plus.
- Excellent telephone skills and the ability to communicate well in both verbal and written forms.
- Demonstrate the ability to be well organized and have a great attitude.
- Knowledge of business/marketing practices and terminology.
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages. The majority of our clients speak English but a working knowledge of Spanish would be a definite plus.
- Candidates must live in the Madison, Wisconsin area.
The right experience is a great plus but we will also consider hiring a person who can demonstrate that they are capable of growing into the role.
The demand for reporting work can be cyclical in nature so you will sometimes be asked to assist in quality assurance and customer support tasks.
